Who we are

PRASM (“PRASM”, “we”, “us”) is a small, founder-led initiative supporting Kayan refugees in Mae Hong Son, Thailand. We are still formalizing our legal and organizational structure. See our Transparency page for an honest account of our current status.

Using this site

You may read, share, and link to this site freely for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't use it to break the law, to harm or harass anyone, to misrepresent PRASM, or to disrupt the site's operation or security.

For the safety of the community we serve, we do not publish the village's exact location, and we ask that you do not attempt to identify or publish it either.

Content & intellectual property

The text, design, logo, and original imagery on this site belong to PRASM or its contributors unless noted otherwise. You're welcome to quote or share our material to help the cause, with attribution; please don't reproduce it in a way that implies endorsement or misrepresents our work.

Photographs and stories of real people are shared with care and consent. Please do not copy or repost images of individuals, especially children, without our written permission.

Donations

Donations are voluntary gifts to support our work; they are not a purchase of goods or services. How gifts are used, our current tax status, and refunds are set out in our Donation & Refund Policy.

Payments are handled by third-party providers (such as Stripe, PayPal, or Patreon). Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Third-party links & services

This site links to third-party services: payment providers, social platforms, and crypto wallets. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, terms, or practices.

Not professional advice

Information here (including field notes about health, identity, and life in the village) is shared to tell an honest story, not as medical, legal, or financial advice. Please don't rely on it as a substitute for a qualified professional.

No warranties

We offer this site “as is.” We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can't guarantee it will always be correct, complete, secure, or uninterrupted. As an emerging initiative, our programs and plans may change.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PRASM and its founder, volunteers, and contributors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) this site or any third-party service it links to.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as PRASM grows and formalizes, and we'll change the “last updated” date above when we do. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.

Governing law & contact
